Hytner and Spacey, Wild Tales, Hofesh Shechter

Nicholas Hytner became director of the Nation Theatre in 2003, the same year Kevin Spacey was appointed to lead The Old Vic. Now both are moving on. In Front Row John Wilson assesses the achievements - and shortcomings of the men who brought stars Jeff Goldblum and Kristin Scott Thomas, and works such as 'War Horse' and 'One Man Two Guvnors' to the stage. David Threlfall plays Noah and Joanne Whalley as his wife in 'The Ark' on BBC 1 on Monday. A. N. Wilson reviews this retelling of the biblical story of the flood. Gaylene Gould joins John to review 'Wild Tales' which was nominated in the best foreign film category in this year's Oscars.
