Oscar-winning actor Cate Blanchett discusses her role in Todd Haynes' new film Carol, based on a Patricia Highsmith novel about an affair between a 1950s American housewife and a shop assistant (Rooney Mara). With 75m sales and four Grammy Awards to her name, Enya releases her new album Dark Sky Island. It's inspired by the poetry of Roma Ryan which takes islands as its theme, and specifically the Channel Island of Sark - designated the world's first dark sky island. Katherine Soper won this year's Bruntwood Prize for playwriting, Britain's biggest competition of its kind, with her play Wish List. She discusses her play which centres on the loving relationship between a brother with OCD and a sister struggling to keep her zero-hour contract.
