The Biblical Epic

Kirsty Lang presents a Front Row special celebrating the big screen's love affair with the Biblical epic. It's a genre that defined the golden age of Hollywood, but it's undergoing something of a resurrection in 2014 thanks to the release of Darren Aronofsky's Noah starring Russell Crowe, a film soon to be joined in cinemas by Ridley Scott's Exodus, and the long awaited prequel to The Passion of The Christ - Mary.
